    2008 Eden Alumni Association Scholarship
    Qualifications and Guidelines

    The Eden Alumni Association Scholarship is a financial aid program for graduating seniors at Eden Central School. Each scholarship is valued at $1,500.00 and is paid in two installments of $750.00 per year.

    This scholarship will be awarded to 4 students who, in the opinion of the Eden Alumni Scholarship Committee, that are of exemplary character and motivation, displaying an impact on his or her peers and the community. No special emphasis shall be placed on any one factor of the student's application, except for the essay, and the Association encourages any graduating senior to apply.

    To be eligible to receive any of your disbursements, you must follow these guidelines. Two payments will be made to you in the amount of $750.00 and will be disbursed before the 1st and 3rd semesters begin, as long as the proper proof of registration from the Registrar's office has been submitted to the Eden Alumni Association along with a print of your senior portrait.

    The award is to be used in the academic semester immediately following graduation and you are to begin college in that first term after high school graduation.

    To receive the second installment, you must have completed two consecutive semesters of college instruction. Any uncollected funds will be forfeited and placed in the Eden Alumni Scholarship Endowment Fund if not claimed by December 15th of the first award year and December 15 of the second award year, immediately following graduation.
